Curriculum

SPEAKER KEYS CIRRICULA (non-academic keys to success)

The speakers program is structured in the following manner:

1) Volunteer speakers attend an education briefing to make prospective speakers aware of the rules and regulations regarding the public schools.

2) Volunteer speakers fill out a form describing their work and education history which is turned over to the principal at public school interested in fostering the speaker program.

3) School principals make the speakers form available to teachers in the school. It is the principal or the teachers who will call you and arrange mutually convenient times for the speaker to address their class. They will also inform speakers as to which educational talk they will be giving.

For example, your information sheet is given to Mrs. Smith’s 2nd grade class and she says you are the 3rd speaker for her class, You would go to the Web site and look up the curriculum for 2nd grade, 3rd talk..
